Support me in raising $1,500 in 13.1 miles to help kids in need.

Hi Friends and Family!

I will be running "The Great Hyannis" Johnny Kelley Half Marathon on May 26, 2013 to help kids in need. Support me in raising $1,500 in 13.1 miles.

"The Great Hyannis" Road Race is an annual tribute to Cape Cod's Marathon Man, Johnny Kelley. Although Johnny's name is synonymous with the Boston Marathon, he had also represented the United States as a member of three Olympic teams. At the young age of 18 in Nazi Germany, he ran with another legend, the great Jesse Owens, in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin. He was the only American to cross the finish line, finishing the race in 18th place.

My fundraising effort is part of the 2013 Life is good Festival, taking place this September 21st and 22nd at Prowse Farm in Canton, MA. Your donation goes directly toward providing continuing education, resources and support to teachers, social workers, Child Life Specialists and others dedicated to ensuring that children grow up feeling safe, loved and joyful.

Thank you in advance for your support!
